   I don’t celebrate. Now I have to find a publisher for the fucker.

   Champagne, always. I celebrate if I finish a poem, let alone a book. Then I pour over it a hundred times (there’s never really a “finished line.”)

   Um, well after I finish a book I buy lottery tickets. I figure my odds of traditional publishing fiction are about the same as winning the lottery. First person essay, I’m your writer. Articles, columns, I’m your writer. Fiction…I’m not giving up yet.
