• Here’s the Story

I wrote a book called The Forest for the Trees and it’s an advice book for writers. For four years, I blogged every day about the agony of writing and publishing, and the self loathing that afflicts most writers. A community of like-minded malcontents gathered and thus ensued a grand conversation. Now, the most popular posts are gathered in Greatest Hits ( a work in progress) Gluttons for punishment can scroll through the archives. If I've learned one thing about writers, it's this: we really are all alone. Love, Betsy

  1. I am currently reading food and loathing!. I picked this book because of the title pulling on me and since, I had to pick a book for a class in psychology of eating disorders this one came up. I would love to have the author come and talk in my class pertaining to binge eating, Just a wish Since, I am suppose to do a final project with this class and talk about a topic of which I can educate my class mates with. I think first hand knowledge of the disorder is more educational than “textbook” material. If anyone can help out in this area it would be appreciated deeply!
